Getting around Hamburg
Hamburg Airport has two terminals, linked by a covered walkway. The airport itself is just five miles (8.5km) from the city centre, connected by S-Bahn (suburban rail network) and bus services. Trains take 25 minutes and run every 10 minutes between Hamburg Airport and Hauptbahnhof, the main city railway station, and bus services run to multiple points in the city. One ticket works across the whole public transport network, which also includes ferries and U-Bahn (underground) trains, all run by HVV (www.hvv.de). Taxis and car hire [http://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/destinations/hamburg/car-hire-in-hamburg] are also available.
