Upon opening the doors to Rocabella Mykonos it is immediately clear that the small amount of huffing and puffing up the steps to reach it was well worth the effort. The cooling sea breeze and a bright white interior have an instantly soothing effect on travel-frazzled nerves, and the design-conscious ocean-inspired decor paired with a refreshing Watermelon Margarita soon had us wondering how a driftwood chandelier would hold up in checked.
The suites are refreshingly laid-back, with whitewashed floors and walls, pale blue and grey blankets and cushions, handcrafted oak and driftwood furnishings, and stacked stone side table lamps. It’s difficult to say whether the plunge pool made of traditional whitewashed island stone or the panoramic view over Mykonos bay is the best thing about the private terrace. Be dears and mull that over for us on your holiday, won’t you?

Served poolside, the breakfast changes daily and often includes Greek twists on classic egg dishes, pancakes, fresh fruit and juices. The hotel restaurant Reeza (which fittingly translates to ‘root’) serves up modern Greek cuisine featuring locally sourced ingredients, organic produce, and freshly caught fish. Order a bottle of Cycladic wine and enjoy leisurely dinners en plein air. Snacks and drinks can be ordered to your sunlounger throughout the day.
Top Table:
Sit as close to the edge of the terrace as possible for uninterrupted views of the Mykonos bay sunset.
Last Orders:
Breakfast is served poolside from 8am to 11am. The restaurant serves dinner from 7pm until 10.45pm, but the poolside bar is open until midnight.

The poolside bar has a cocktail menu created by the hotel’s award-winning bartender. Reeza’s bar menu has light bites, including freshly-fried calamari, chunky chips and pitta accompanied by an array of Greek dips. There’s also a small bar in the lobby where you can stop by throughout the day for a gin fizz or Aperol spritz.
