Customer Service Manager (CSM)

Having flown as senior crew for only a few years, I was initially attracted to the role of Customer Service Manager because of the range of duties associated with the job. I felt the position would give me the opportunity to get involved with many other areas of the industry besides on-board flying duties.

After the intense initial training course and first few weeks settling into the on board role I am now very happy with my place in the team. Recently, over a time frame of less than a couple of weeks, I’ve been involved in everything from long haul flying to IT systems testing, short haul flying to airport duties and a training course to help prepare me for taking on the responsibility of managing my cabin crew team.


Meet some more Customer Services Managers

Looking to the future, I’m hoping to get in touch with Special Services to learn more about how they assist a range of customers through the airport, spend a day shadowing a turnaround manager and of course take over responsibility for line managing my team of cabin crew. It has been an exciting start, and I’m looking forward to continuing to get involved in new challenges on the ground, whilst remaining firmly involved in the work I still enjoy most – flying as cabin crew.
