We want you to make the most of your placement with us. For that to happen, it's essential you have a genuine interest in our business, in whatever capacity. You will also need to be adaptable, self-confident and highly organised.
A strong analytical ability is critical, we’re looking for problem solvers who can deal with ambiguity and grasp ideas and information quickly. Conceptual skills, creativity and excellent communication skills are highly prized too, as is a high level of numerical reasoning. In choosing the right people for we will also be looking for people who can demonstrate the following:
On starting your placement with us you will be provided with an induction to give you an overview of the company and its culture. You will be allocated a buddy to support a smooth transition into the company and a line manager who will agree a set of objectives for the placement period. This will ensure that we understand your expectations of us and we meet your needs to fulfil the sandwich element of your course. We will provide you with any training you need to carry out your placement and your performance will be reviewed during the year to monitor your progress with your line manager.
We'll hand you genuine responsibility right from the start, allowing you the freedom to find solutions to real problems, secure in the knowledge there is a strong framework of support and guidance to back you up.
