From innovations on ba.com, to systems that optimise fuel usage, to the exploitation of mobile technology to improve customer service, on this programme you’ll create and deliver solutions that give us a competitive advantage.

Our IT teams support our global business and are centred in Heathrow and Newcastle. This is where you will be based, though you’ll work closely with colleagues at other locations too. The programme consists of an 18-month placement as either an Infrastructure Engineer or Software Engineer.

You will receive formal IT technical training plus development of your business knowledge and interpersonal skills.  We put a real focus on your development, through a structured programme committed to helping you be the best you can be. We’re looking for creative future leaders with the ability to solve complex problems and inspire those around them. We look for graduates who have a demonstrable interest in IT and the airline industry and we recruit graduates from a broad range of disciplines, having a degree in IT is not essential.

You will need at least a 2:1 degree or predicted 2:1 degree in any discipline to apply. Opportunities are available in both London Heathrow and Newcastle. Take your first step on a career journey to be proud of.
