We are looking for a senior analyst to develop and deliver customer-centric analysis and insights to drive multichannel, multi-market CRM programmes across marketing and customer services. Responsible for the technical delivery of projects that involve the analysis of the behaviour of BA customers, as well as manipulating data in order to get a deeper understanding of them. This will include the building of statistical models (CHAID, regression, cluster analysis etc.) for campaign targeting and customer profiling.

We are looking for “data scientists”, analysts who are truly multi skilled in advanced analytics, data integration, creativity, good communications skills and business acumen – skills which often already exist in an organisation, but not always in a single person. Our analysts have the challenge of understanding, explaining and predicting customer behaviour, and marrying this knowledge with the abilities of the various levers we have to positively affect customers. You’ve gained experience working in an analytical role, in a complex data environment, so you’ll be confident translating business questions into analytical queries. And you’ll have all the relevant technical skills – particularly in Excel modelling. We use SAS for data analysis and mining, Enterprise miner, Business Objects, Teradata SQL and Adobe Insight (Omniture) for web analytics. So it would be preferable if you’re already skilled in SAS, but we’ll train you up in others. We’re also looking for strong commercial awareness and presentation skills, together with your ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

To help you really get to grips with Revenue Management at BA you’ll be involved in the day-to-day management of a number or routes, directly impacting BA’s bottom line to the tune of millions of pounds.
Excellent analytical skills, including experience using Excel. Although a Revenue Management background would be advantageous, it is not a prerequisite
Ability to make decisions, often based on conflicting data, as well as a curious, entrepreneurial spirit.
We are looking for an Analysis Team Leader to manage a portfolio with revenue of up to £800 million annually that will deliver valuable insights to teams across the Gatwick business area.
As well as responsibility for a sizeable portfolio, you’ll lead and manage the performance and development of a small team of analysts via coaching, feedback and supporting their individual progress. We’ll also rely on you to develop, maintain and share best practice within the team and across Gatwick.
In addition to a numerate degree or proven numerical aptitude, you have relevant experience gained in an operational or commercial analytical role.
You need to enjoy problem structuring and taking the lead to scope and structure analytical work, where you set the initatives and influence senior stakeholders.You also have a good level of commercial acumen and excellent project and portfolio management skills.
What’s more, you’re used to managing a team, as well senior level stakeholders, using you great interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and the ability to build complex spreadsheet models is vital too, as is a good understanding of either SAS and SQL.
Previous people management experience is not essential as long as you can show you have lead project groups as part of previous roles.
