Airport Operations is the focal point for all British Airways incoming and outgoing flights to and from the Heathrow and Gatwick Terminals.
It sounds simple, but when you consider we operate a fleet of over 300 aircraft making an average of 1,000 flights a day, to over 300 destinations worldwide, the scale of the challenge begins to emerge. As if that isn't complicated enough, there are numerous other factors to consider, from aircraft maintenance requirements to flight crew preferences.
